7. Inquadramento epistemologico del Knowledge Building

Abstract

The paper presents the KBC model in its epistemological implications explicable in Popper and constructivism. The two positions, however, are not easily reconcilable, and leave open questions as regards to the theme of truth.The subject is treated from a philosophical point of view and then brought back in the teaching model.The question is: what are the prospects of gathering together the truth of Popper's model with the constructivism one? Which of the two concepts of truth is useful for basic training?The contribution proposes a deepening of the epistemological perspective of the KB in order to understand fully the implications of educational and teaching aids which will be discussed in other contributions to this Special Issue.
