Abstract


This paper describes the Constructive and Collaborative Participation (PCC) model referring to the Knowledge Building Community theory, the Distributed Cognition theory, the Theory of Activity, the Learning Community theory and the Community of Practices theory. The PCC model joins together individual, dyadic, in small group and community activities. All the activities are delivered alternating online and offline environments. We will describe the PCC model by pointing out the theories, the activities and some university blended courses during which it took place.
