2. Identità e comunità in contesti collaborativi: un'esperienza blended universitaria
Abstract
Higher education is nowadays looking for new and complex models capable to effectively blend on-line and face to face. Furthermore, blended models are considered as able to sustain innovative ways to knowledge building collaboratively. Effects of such models should be also visible on self-perception and on representation of the learning community.
This paper describes an experience of blended teaching in higher education.
10 university students attending an advanced university course are involved. Effects on identity positioning and on sense of belonging are inquired by using a content analysis tool. 87 notes posted on two discussion on-line forums are analyzed. From such analysis it emerges a strong sense of identity based on self reference; at the same time students.
