Contexts and technologies: two inseparable terms.\u00a0We believe that the technologies have sense and value only if analyzed and understood within their contexts of use.\u00a0Let’s take a simple example: in an agricultural context of a few centuries ago, the term “new” technology or innovative technology was probably referring to a new type of plow that freed the man from the effort, giving it more time and, therefore, consequently\u00a0allowed an improvement in family relationships in general and the relationship with oneself.\u00a0This technology not only changed the type of cultivation and then for food, but also transformed the way we live and think.\u00a0Today, in a contemporary Western context, the expression is used when you think new technologies to the various environments of the Internet or mobile devices for remote communication.\u00a0Again this is not a simple enhancement or acceleration of functions already possible before, but rather a radical change in lifestyle.
\nIn any case, new technologies always produce a domino effect is not always very consistent and understandable in the first instance.\u00a0Assuming, therefore, a cultural-historical perspective, this necklace is to analyze the relationship technology-environment around the following assumptions:

\n– Technologies are not just instruments of mediation “outside” but also “internal”.\u00a0In fact, let us conceptualize and imagine worlds, ideas, emotions are not possible,
\n– The power of innovative technologies can be understood only through an approach mutidisciplinare.\u00a0The technologies are humans so extensive that only the combination of different angles, different points of view (psychological, social, educational, aesthetic, artistic, political, economic, etc..) Makes possible a satisfactory analysis of a phenomenon\u00a0so complex.<\/p>\n
The necklace Contexts and Technologies was founded as a tool and framework for discussion and reflection on issues and is exposed as a further spread of the organ of Collaborative Knowledge Building Group (CKBG) (www.ckbg.org), an association that is in the Italian\u00a0actually a very special and well-established.\u00a0Researchers, students, teachers, entrepreneurs in various areas within the CKBG meet to discuss, exchange ideas and discuss issues relating to technology, its use in various contexts, its innovative power, cultural impact, its ability\u00a0to contribute to processes of interaction, collaboration and knowledge building, as well as the assumptions necessary to develop a design capacity that seems to need to be supported and strengthened.
