The CKBG has recently endorsed the “TROYES Declaration (Timisoara 2.0).” This initiative, promoted by the ASLERD association (Association for Smart Learning Ecosystems and Regional Development), revisits the previous version of the declaration (the Timisoara Declaration) to address the educational challenges posed by our society. It advocates for so-called “smart learning ecosystems” (technologically enhanced educational ecosystems) that focus on individuals and their harmonious development, aiming to make them proactive and aware members of the social context to which they belong. In line with our association’s mission, we believe this initiative is worthy of interest and support. Therefore, we encourage all members to share it with potential stakeholders and, if interested, to inform the ASLERD association (aslerd.org@gmail.com) of their willingness to promote the declaration among other associations and organizations that may be interested.
