The Knowledge Building International (KBI) was founded in July 2012 as a non-profit association aimed at supporting the knowledge building community of innovators and researchers to advance research, practical applications and a general awareness on knowledge building.

Goals

*  Promote collaborations between researchers, trainers, pedagogues and designers of effective methods for building new knowledge
* Promote the application of the concepts of “knowledge creation” and “knowledge building” in educational and professional development contexts;
* Facilitate the involvement of trainees of any type and level in authentic processes of knowledge creation;
* Develop theories, pedagogies and technologies to assess the skills and competences involved in knowledge creation;
* Collaborate closely with schools and other organizations in different countries to create “innovation incubators” for educational knowledge creation.

It conducts research, develops technologies and helps build communities aimed at going beyond “best practices” in education, knowledge work, and knowledge creation. Progedit welcomes editorial projects for volumes and magazines. The publishing house counts on international scientific and referee committees and is updated on Anvur and ministerial guidelines. Two journals in the pedagogical field are in category A. In recent months, Progedit has strengthened some sectors, including in particular social sciences, literature, general and social pedagogy, teaching, multimedia and experimental pedagogy, psychology. The attention for the authors accompanies them from the editorial project to editing, proofreading, up to the personalized choice of covers and the promotion of the volume. The request for contributions is zero in the case of adoptions for at least three years. We also offer the possibility of publishing e-books alongside paper printing. In recent weeks, Progedit has signed a contract with a national distributor, Libro.Co, which will strengthen its presence in the major bookshops in Italy, but the catalog can be ordered from the Progedit website (without shipping costs) and from all e-commerce.

Coding Giants

Coding Giants is an innovative educational institution that offers interested young people courses on new technologies and computer programming. The school was born in 2015 thanks to four graduates of the Faculty of Electronics and Informatics of the Warsaw Polytechnic, and has since expanded into 14 Countries around the world, including Italy.
Coding Giants is a licensed international partner of Microsoft in education, has received a special EY award for his contribution to the digital education of the new generations.
The goal of the school is to show students how great the potential lies in learning programming and how enormous the benefits are. Coding Giants encourages children and teenagers to create their own video games, websites and other applications in a way such as to transform passive use of the internet into active creation. Programming is work of the future. It’s also a great way to develop many skills including logical thinking, creativity, patience and problem-solving skills.
The Coding Giants courses are aimed at children and teenagers aged between 7 and 18, with a division by age groups. The contents of the lessons are the property of the school and are prepared by specialized programmers, who scrupulously select the material based on ability of students of a given age group. The lessons are held by expert teachers in the IT sector supported by a group of educators with extensive expertise and experience in working with children and young people.
