The volume was created with the intention of collecting solicitations and recommendations that emerged during the seminar “Distance university teaching: between emergencies and the future”, organized by the Collaborative Knowledge Building Group (CKBG) association and by the University of Foggia, with the sponsorship of ‘Italian Association of Psychology (AIP). The event is part of the broader national and international debate on distance learning (DaD) during the Covid-19 health emergency, with the aim of creating an opportunity to meet and discuss developments in university education. In fact, all universities were suddenly forced to transfer their teaching in presence to online environments, thus having to rethink the very forms and methods of teaching. What will remain of this emergency period? Will we be able to grasp the possibilities and advantages of university teaching mediated by technologies? The text offers a reflection through a collection of essays.
